The early release program is a special new program designed to supply my customers with access to my beads before the general public sees them. This is your exclusive opportunity to purchase the newest choice beads directly from me. While there are strict guild lines for participation, the reward is having direct and immediate access to my latest work before it is published on the web or auctioned on eBay.
How does it work?
As soon as I have a new "batch" of beads to photograph I'll select some for eBay, some for inventory and some for this exclusive program. After photographing the beads, I'll post them to a special website just for members of this program. I'll then email the members and invitation with a link and password. The work will be available for purchase for approximately one week, after which I will typically offer the work to the general public either through eBay, website or shows.
How do I join?
Any current customers is welcome to the program providing they have a flawless record of payment with me. New customers are welcome to join after a successful transaction either through eBay or by purchasing directly from the website. Join by emailing me (be sure to include your name or business name and reference how you have purchased from me in the past). After I have verified your purchase history I notify of your acceptance and place you on the mailing list to receive a link and password about once a week, when new items are available for your selection.
What kinds of payment are accepted?
Immediate payment via Paypal is the only accepted payment for beads sold under this program.
How much is shipping?
First class shipping on all web sales, including the Early Release Program, is free. Priority shipping and insurance are available for an extra charge. I ship all packages on Tuesdays and Fridays. If payment is received before 8 am (central) on Tuesday or Friday your package will ship the same day, otherwise it will be included in the next shipment.
What kind of beads will you be offering?
My sets generally all go directly to eBay, so this offering will almost exclusively feature my extra large focals with some boro work included on occasion.
Is this a discount program?
It's not designed for discounts, but given they way some beads are received on eBay it could be a discount! While I may offer various opportunities for new designers or faithful customers to participate in discount programs in the future, this opportunity is for immediate gratification and access to my latest beads without competing against the public at large. It's like an invite into my studio to see and purchase what just came out of the kiln. These are newborn beads.
Will the general public ever see the bead you sell me?
Yes. After you commit to purchase the bead I will probably post pictures of it in my blog and on internet forums. I believe in sharing inspiration with other glass artists and like to show my recent work in hopes of inspiring others and as karmic payment for inspiration I've received from them. Works may also be published in books, posters, postcards or business cards as well as entered in contests.
Is the Early Release Program the only place I can find these beads?
If a bead does not sell through the early release program I will eventually sell it at auction on eBay, on my website for the general public or at a show. The early release program is the first chance to purchase these beads.
Will all beads be released in this program first?
No. I intend to select some of the finest of my work for release in this program but some beads will still go directly to eBay, shows or general website sales.
